There are many types of industrial oil filtration devices. According to the filtration principle, application scenario and oil characteristics, they can be mainly divided into the following categories:


Classification by filtration principle


(1) Mechanical filtration equipment


- Plate and frame oil filter

- Intercepting particulate impurities through filter paper/filter cloth

- Applicable to: high viscosity oil or oil containing a large amount of mechanical impurities (such as gear oil, rolling oil)


- Bag filter

- Use non-woven filter bags for filtration, easy to replace

- Applicable to: Pre-filtration of lubricating oil and hydraulic oil

- Filter element filter

- Use metal mesh, glass fiber and other filter elements

(2) Vacuum separation equipment


- Vacuum oil filter

- Through negative pressure dehydration and degassing, combined with precision filtration

- Applicable to: Insulating oil and light oil such as transformer oil and turbine oil

- Two-stage vacuum oil filter

- Two-stage vacuum tank, higher dehydration efficiency

Applicable to: Emulsified oil with extremely high water content


(3) Centrifugal separation equipment


- Centrifugal oil filter

- Uses centrifugal force to separate water and impurities

- Applicable to: Cutting fluid, heavily contaminated heavy oil


(4) Adsorption purification equipment


- Silica gel/molecular sieve oil filter

- Removes acidic substances and trace water through adsorbents

- Applicable to: Regeneration of aged transformer oil


- Electrostatic oil filter

- Adsorbs submicron particles using an electrostatic field

- Applicable to: Ultra-clean hydraulic oil

- Explosion-proof Oil Filter: For hazardous environments such as petrochemicals and coal mines

- Regenerative Oil Filter: Reduces acid value and restores oil performance


4. Special Filtration Technologies


- Coalescing Separation Technology: Demulsification and dehydration (e.g., lubricating oil with water content > 1000 ppm)

- Low-Temperature Vacuum Technology: Processing heat-sensitive oils (e.g., certain synthetic oils)

- Magnetic Filtration: Removal of ferromagnetic particles (e.g., rolling mill oil)

- Filtration Fineness: 1μm (precision hydraulic systems) to 50μm (coarse filtration)

- Flow rate: 5L/min (small) to 500L/min (industrial grade)

- Temperature range: -20°C (low-temperature oil) to 120°C (high-temperature oil)
