What factors affect the working efficiency of the vacuum pump?
Low steam pressure and pressure fluctuations have a great impact on the capacity of the vacuum pump. Therefore, the steam pressure should not be lower than the required working pressure, but the structural design of the vacuum pump used has been finalized. An excessive increase in steam pressure will not increase the suction volume and vacuum degree.
In addition, to ensure that the steam pressure supplied by the boiler is stable, it is best to use a boiler to provide working steam for the steam jet pump, so that the steam pressure will not fluctuate and ensure the stability of the vacuum pump performance.
If the cooling water supply is insufficient, the condenser will heat up, the airflow sound will become louder, the vacuum degree will drop rapidly, and even the steam will return to the suction pipe. Condensate plays a vital role in multi-stage vacuum pumps. Condensate can fully condense steam.
The water vapor partial pressure in the discharge pressure of the vacuum pump must be higher than the corresponding saturated steam pressure. Therefore, the temperature of the condensate must also be lower than the saturated temperature under this pressure to ensure the normal operation of the pump body.
3. Nozzle The nozzle is an important component that affects the performance of the vacuum pump.
The existing problems include: wrong nozzle installation, crooked installation, blockage, damage, corrosion and leakage. No matter what preventive measures are taken, nozzle blockage is inevitable.
On the one hand, when the steam pipeline is installed, the iron filings and welding slag remaining in the pipeline will block the nozzle; on the other hand, when the vacuum pump system is out of use, the steam pipeline is prone to rust, and the rust spots fall and block the nozzle during use.
The impact of the environment mainly refers to the pollution of the system by the pumped gas. During the treatment of molten steel, the molten steel will release a lot of gas, and at the same time, some fine oxide powder and other small particles will be sucked into the vacuum pump. These small particles will accumulate and adhere to the pump body, reducing the conductance of the exhaust pipeline, prolonging the exhaust time, and reducing the exhaust function of the pump.
