How to best deal with waste transformer oil?

Waste transformer oil is very harmful to the environment. Direct discharge will cause soil and water pollution. Long-term accumulation will reduce soil permeability, affect plant growth, and have adverse effects on the ecosystem. Therefore, the treatment of waste transformer oil is an urgent issue.

The first treatment method is pyrolysis treatment. 

The waste transformer oil is heated to a high temperature, the waste is decomposed into liquid hydrocarbons and gases, and then cooled, precipitated and filtered, so that the waste can be basically treated.

The second treatment method is reforming treatment. 

The waste transformer oil is added to the reforming tower, mixed with crude oil with different boiling points for fractionation, and after several separations and recoveries, clean fuels such as petroleum gas, gasoline, and diesel can be obtained to achieve the purpose of recycling and reuse.

The third treatment method is sludge treatment. 

The waste transformer oil is precipitated and filtered to obtain oil-containing solid sludge. Under high temperature and high pressure conditions, through pyrolysis or oxidation, the sludge can be converted into fuel oil through degradation reaction, or low-quality fatty acids can be obtained, which can also be reused.

Reforming and sludge treatment can be used to treat waste transformer oil. The choice of these treatment methods needs to be determined based on actual conditions, and waste treatment must strictly comply with environmental protection regulations to protect the human living environment and promote sustainable development.
