How to Choose the Right Oil Purifier Based on Oil Type and Performance Requirements


Selecting the correct oil purifier depends on oil type, contamination characteristics, and target purification performance. Different oils—such as transformer oil, turbine oil, and hydraulic oil—require different purification technologies due to their unique moisture sensitivity, gas content, and particulate contamination.

1. Transformer Oil (Insulating Oil)

Transformer oil is highly sensitive to moisture and dissolved gases, both of which significantly reduce breakdown voltage (BDV) and insulation reliability.
